Safety
In IES Barcelona we find safety to be one of our priorities. Being apart from your homes, in a foreign country where everything is new you need to feel safe and your families need to know that you are in good hands.
IES Barcelona has developed a rigorous safety plan and a series of comprehensive measures to be used at anytime. Students are able to contact a Student Services staff member 24 hours a day during their whole stay for health and/or safety emergencies at the Emergency Phone 60.64.60.919. Students are also provided with an emergency card with important information. Students are asked to take the card with them at all time. All IES Barcelona staff is trained in safety procedures and stays informed about all local and international political conditions by our constant contact with the US Consulate in Spain.
